Our Passionate Advisors

Academic Advisors

Here at OHDELA, we assign every student to an Academic Advisor to help them every step of the way. Our advisors not only assign classes to each student, but also stay in communication during the year to provide assistance in many ways.  Below are the advisor telephone numbers. If you have any questions or concerns, start with them and we will be happy to help you!

Taylor Cunningham

I’ve always loved to learn and realized I loved teaching and conversing with others when I was just a kid. I enjoyed spending time reading between the lines of books with my younger brother and talking about the ideas we would find in the text. Now, I enjoy using this love for learning to understand and relate to those from many different backgrounds that we serve here at OHDELA. Being a middle school academic advisor here has really allowed me to grow my sense of self, deepen my curiosities, and expand my relationship with our community.

Hi I’m Allie Moore! I am the K-3rd grade Academic Advisor at OHDELA. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s in Educational Studies and minor in Non-Profit Studies. My favorite part of working at OHDELA is advocating for the students and their families. I firmly believe parents/guardians are the most important part of their child’s OHDELA journey. I am excited to help make that possible!

Dion Stentz

I graduated from Andrews University with a Masters' Degree in Community Counseling. I have a passion for helping others and seeing them succeed. My favorite thing about OHDELA is watching the gradual progression of academic success of the students. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and a good movie.

Today is the day where you define what your tomorrow will bring. It is up to you and only you to make a decision to work harder, become a leader, accomplish your highest goals and reach your highest potential. What you accomplish today will define your tomorrow, your future and the world around you. Take pride in what you learn, for that knowledge will bring you success, fulfillment and character that no one can ever take away from you.

I am thrilled to be starting my 13th year with the Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy as an academic advisor. My true passions are teaching myself to utilize new technologies and developing positive relationships with students. In my spare time, I make films, build Lego with my two children; Mia and Danny, and wrestle things out of my puppy’s mouth that he should not have. I look forward to the next chapter in my OHDELA career!

Working with students at OHDELA has been an inspiration every day. The fuel for education that students have is contagious. They have made the job as Academic Advisor truly awarding. Each student has inspired me to be a better person in many different ways. Their stories and struggles have made me work even harder to lead them to the best future that they could have.
