Acts of Kindness with OHDELA Students!

OHDELA’s National Honor Society is an organization that dedicates itself to performing acts of kindness and public service.  This year we would like to challenge the whole school to participate in Sewa Day on or around October 1st.

Sewa Day is an international day of volunteering where thousands of good-hearted people across the world come together to experience the joy of giving (Sewa) in its truest sense. By participating in this collective endeavor, we hope that the seeds of Sewa are watered so that acts of kindness and public service are performed more often. Sewa Day is a catalyst in making this happen.”(from the site https://www.sewaday.org )

Since we have students in all 88 counties of Ohio, we should be able to spread kindness and public service throughout Ohio.  Send us pictures of the awesome way your family is helping your community.

Where possible we would request that all projects are organized for Sunday October 1st, 2017. However, if this is not possible then we ask that you organize a project in the preceding week (September 23rd – September 30th).
