School Start & Tech Support



We are excited to embark on a new school year and want to make sure you are prepared and get the support you need. During your first week of school, you will be attending orientations during which time you will get acquainted with the online school, systems, get to know your student support team, and learn about your schedule and daily routine.

Orientations are on the first Monday and Tuesday of your school start week.

Information about accessing orientation sessions will be forthcoming. Your grade level OHDELA Onboarding Coach will send login credentials for both your Chomebook computer and the online school to all new students and parents. You will need to reset your initial passwords upon log-in. Be sure to write this down. If you do not see an email from your onboarding coach, please be sure to check your spam and/or ensure we have your updated contact information on file.  Check both your personal email and the student’s school email.

The OHDELA Onboarding Coach will also send via email an invitation to each of your live orientations. It is important that you look for this email inviting you to register for a live orientation session.  If you did not receive an email, please be sure to check your spam folder and/or ensure we have your updated contact information on file. 

Orientation will consist of synchronous live sessions and asynchronous course modules that will be completed in order to help your student get to know the OHDELA school community and navigate the online schooling experience successfully. Information on class level course access will also be provided during orientation.

Chromebook computers are shipped to all new students who request one (you noted your request during the enrollment process). Most new students should have already received these, however it is possible that in some situations computers will arrive over the weekend as well so please be on the lookout for this important delivery.
